This page explains how to delete your Againday account and the data stored with it. It applies to Againday on Android, iPhone and iPad.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Againday and go to Settings → Account & Sync.
- Tap Delete Account… and confirm. The app asks you to confirm with Google or Apple once more.
The button appears once you have signed in with Google or Apple. If you never signed in, see the last section.
Ask us to delete your account
If you can’t use the app, email support@againday.com from the address linked to your sign-in and ask us to delete your account. We will do so within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleting your account immediately removes your account, your Personal list, the lists you own (including their items and completion records, also for the people you shared them with) and the invitations you created. Copies may remain in our providers’ backups for a limited time until they are overwritten.
You will be removed from lists that others shared with you; the items and completion records you added to those lists stay as part of that list, and the completion records show the name you used at the time. If you would like your name removed from those records, let us know.
Removing the app from your device does not delete your account.
If you never signed in
Your data is linked to an anonymous account. You can delete items and lists in the app: deleted items and records are kept online for 30 days so your other devices remove them too, and are then permanently deleted. If you never sign in and remove the app, we can no longer connect that anonymous account to you. We may delete anonymous accounts that have been inactive for more than 12 months.
For everything we store and why, see the Privacy Policy.
